My WOODHEAD ancestors were the Huddersfield area in West Yorkshire. Abraham WOODHEAD married Elizabeth DYSON, in Silkstone, Almondbury, 1739. Several of my WOODHEAD ancestors left West Yorkshire in the mid 1800's to settle in Cheshire.
