Woodhead, Gee Family from West Yorkshire
My WOODHEAD ancestors were from the Huddersfield area in West Yorkshire. Abraham WOODHEAD was married in Silkstone, Almondbury, 1739. My line of WOODHEADS traveled from West Yorkshire in the mid 1800's to settle in Cheshire. The Gee family may have originated in Chester, Hull, Rothley, or Leicester. I have the merchants mark from William Gee, of Hull, in 1535. This is a work in process. I also have a surname "CONNECTIONS" link to post queries and a "Gee family DNA project" link on my site.
